Letter from the founder

I’ve spent over a decade in the fashion industry, and in that time, I’ve seen more waste than I care to remember. It stayed with me—the excess, the disposability, the pressure to constantly create more. I knew I wanted to build something different. Not louder, not trendier—just more thoughtful.

INTGR was born from a simple idea: “What if people fell in love with a product, and then found out it was also better for the planet?”
That shift—where responsibility is the norm, not a slogan—was my starting point.

I didn’t want to preach sustainability. I wanted to live it, build it into every part of the process, and make it effortless for others to choose better—without compromise. If I could create something people truly loved, something that functioned beautifully and lasted, they wouldn’t need to think twice. They’d use it often, they’d keep it longer. And that, to me, is sustainability.

As I explored further, I became drawn to circularity—rethinking how things are made, used, and eventually remade. I also knew that INTGR had to be inclusive. That meant creating products that didn’t discriminate by gender, size, or identity. Accessories became the most natural way to do that—timeless pieces that anyone could carry, and everyone could connect to.

The name INTGR comes from “Integer”—a word that means “whole” or “complete,” and is also linked to “integrity” in German, where this idea first began to take shape. At its core, INTGR stands for honest design, purposeful creation, and mindful consumption.

Our aesthetic is minimalist, but our intention is layered: form and function, style and substance, all designed to reduce waste through versatility and longevity. We don’t want you to replace what you already own. We simply hope to inspire more conscious choices when investing in your future.

This is just the beginning. If you want to know more—ask me anything.

Sincerely,

Sakshi Awal

Founder, INTGR
